ShortCuts Lawn Mowing ("we," "our," "us") is a small, family-operated lawn-care business in Plainfield, Illinois. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website or book a service, and how we use it. We aim to keep things simple and only collect what we need to mow your lawn.

Booking records are retained for as long as needed to operate the business, typically up to two years from your last service. You may request deletion of your records at any time by contacting us through the booking form (see Section 8).

5. Cookies and tracking

We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. The Stripe payment field uses a cookie scoped to Stripe's own service to operate the secure payment widget. The site also uses ordinary browser storage to remember a few preferences. We do not have analytics that track you across other websites.

We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 13. The booking form is intended to be used by adults arranging service for their own property.

7. Security

The site uses HTTPS for all connections. Card payments go directly to Stripe's PCI-compliant infrastructure. Booking records are stored in Netlify's encrypted Blobs storage. While no online system is perfectly secure, we take reasonable steps to protect the small amount of information we hold.
